Really enjoyed learning new material. Ashley is easy to understand and a great presenter. Also felt encouraged by the different Googlers speaking about their own unique path to cybersecurity.

Great course with great content! Recommend to provide more detail with regard to the CISSP Eight Security Domains and maybe, provide more hands-on with the SIEM and SOAR tools and playbooks.

As a cybersecurity professional, I was positively surprised to see actually applicable questions and quizzes. Good work! Highly recommended to even experienced security analysts.

I consider it rather memoristic. The whole course is about classifying (5 phases of incident response, 5 core functions of NIST, 10 OWASP principles) and the questions are focused not on understanding but on memorizing the exact words used on a video or in an internal classification. Not very insightful.

The overall experience was fabulous as expected, the instructor was very friendly and the way she explained the concepts was really appreciated

I think it was way too heavy on the repetition of what was covered in Course 1 and then not enough useful, practical information here. At the very least you could include a screenshot of some SIEMs dashboards to explain what you will see and how you will know what a threat will look like and when to break out the playbook. Also, other places will all a Playbook a SOP (standard operations and procedures) which might just be worth noting at some point, given the international nature of this course. Otherwise pretty good. The information in the videos was well delivered and digestible. The other videos that basically just told us not to worry about Imposter Syndrome was also really nice. Good to hear other people's stories. Just consider less overlap and more directed progress on this course instead.

I'm an old dog (75) learning new tricks. Not sure where any of this is going to take me. Definitely not looking for full time job...part time...Ok. My goals are to pass the National exam, learn more about SQL and Python and learning hacker techniques. My most valuable skill will be to keep the kids from burning down the place...;O).

This course gave a very good outlook of the actual duties of a Cybersecurity analyst. It showed me what I need to be working on now in order to prepare myself. I like that it also showed me that I already have skills that I bring to the table that would help me along in my career path.

No hands on experience

If coursera expects people to give reviews at the end of the course, then they should make sure that multiple choice answers which require 3 answers out of 4 possible ones, DO NOT HAVE ONLY 2 answers that would be correct. It ruined my grade from being a 100 leaving me with a 91.75. The people answering in the coursera help section speak improper english and troll you when you point out one of their staff are creating indirect answers to very important questions like this one. Then they play it off like they are answering your question and we have no right to be upset with this sociopathic action? I think if coursera is going to be working with big names like Google, Meta, IBM, Microsoft which will be spearhead companies in the coming digital age, then they need to make sure greater care is taken with legitimate English and other native language speakers before they try to provide education. This is the education industry for crying out loud..People mess up yes, and thats ok. But when something is a mess up from being irresponsible and wanting to retaliate, thats when a reflection of integrity is shown to the world.

Safety is a myth to many but if you equip yourself with the right kind of knowledge found in this course you know how to spot threats, risks and vulnerabiloities online and offline. Some activities we engage in, online and off can look harmless. Take your information safety beyond level one with "Play it Safe: Manage Security Risks."

The course content is just the right pace. I feel the review questions could be harder but on the other hand it has given me a good boost of confidence being able to learn so quickly and accurately.

Liked the passing of the content, just not how repetitive it was. Also I feel as if a lot of this material could be cut as it seemed to drag on with information that has already been covered

it's good for a start but not a two weeks course, it could be teach within three days.

Managing Cybersecurity risks has been made easy, after this course I have acquired vast knowledge in security controls, playbooks, and general incident handling.

Understanding the CISSP domains and the NIST framework has opened my mind to the best security practices whilst dealing with incident response.

This course has helped my reinforced my knowledge but also learn new topics I did not learn before. Like any other course in this certificate program, it gave me the opportunity to just learn because I will never know what new perspective I will gain. And to learn more about security and technology.

Great course which give an overview of assessing and managing information security risks using standard information security frameworks. Learning about the existence of info sec standards is important for individuals new to info sec to understand the motivation behind their programs.
