Effective reading, especially when the main goal is to obtain information, involves certain strategies. Its application is almost automatic, unconscious, when it comes to readings in the mother tongue. However, when it comes to reading a text in English, there are several factors that make its application difficult.
The purpose of this course is for students to be aware of the characteristics of texts in general and of legal texts in particular and of some activities in which, such as reader can participate to read effectively.

This course called "Reading and Comprehension of Text in English" leaves much to be desired. It is very poorly designed, and even if you write down the correct answers, it marks them as incorrect. It asks for information that they do not teach you. It has too many errors, so please solve the problems it has before enabling this course. Additionally, those who teach seem to be students who do not know and do not trust what they themselves say. Let this platform not lose its seriousness. Just because a university endorses the certificate does not mean that anyone from the university can start teaching without having the necessary knowledge of the subject to be treated, as well as the use of the online platform used.
the videos is not very good because the background sound are noisy so I can not hear the teacher .

It's good to practice some English, reading texts, but the exercises lack some review. There's one answer wrong in an exercise about connecting words, other that tells you it's letter c when in fact you needed to mark letter d. Also, there are some words written wrongly and other that the format put them together. In the videos of the explanation sometimes the songs are louder and it can take your focus out of what they are saying.
