Before joining Yale as a full-time faculty member in 2007, Daylian M. Cain was the Russell Sage Fellow of Behavioral Economics at Harvard. He teaches Negotiations, Sales, and Leadership at the Yale School of Management. Cain directed the Yale/Volvo Car Sales Leadership Program and recently designed portions of Apple’s internal negotiations training. Originally from Nova Scotia, he holds three master’s degrees and a Ph.D. in Business. He often says his research focuses on “why smart people do dumb things.”
