This course completely transformed my career. After applying what I learned here, I earned a spot in my company’s AI task force as a non-engineer. I enjoyed Professor Martin Hilbert's presentation of the topic. It is apparent he is very well-versed on A.I. Initially, I felt overwhelmed on the topic of A.I. prompting however, Professor Hilbert explained it in a way that was interesting and because of his enthusiasm on the topic, it made learning a much more pleasant experience. In terms of the Coursera site, I found it easy to use and I liked the option to chat with a bot to obtain a summary and test myself on the topic to gain a better understanding. It was a very user-friendly site.

This course is super engaging and breaks down complex topics into short, easy-to-understand lessons. Learning to use AI agents was especially helpful and gave me practical skills I can apply right away.

A life changing exploration into the code tools, and the more important social systems, behind multi-agent systems. Risks and mitigations are also discussed.

Couldn't recommend more, excellent intro for begginers and those who want to expand on their baseline knowledge. Martin is the GOAT!

This course is absolutely perfect for anyone looking to get a start into learning and working with AI in a productive setting, and has no prerequisites. The pace is relaxed and very flexible and the lectures are very informative and digestible for someone new to the topic. In my opinion, the best part is that the assignments do an excellent job at letting you apply the topics learned in a range of depth or complexity depending on your level on understanding to technical skills. The course leads you through detailed prompting all the way up to multi-agent workflows, with a key emphasis on teaching you how to properly engage with an LLM to receive the best results. In this course, you should expect to earn back the effort you invest into it to build skills you really can't find anywhere else. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to start learning about AI tools or deepen their own understanding of their current skills. Nothing but praise for this course and Professor Hilbert! - FD

* Non-computer science majors: Good, rather comprehensive introduction to building multi-agent systems. * Computer science majors and the like: Useful overview of AI and multi-agent systems if you have never taken a course on either topic, but be sure to supplement with projects that are appropriate for your abilities. There is no heavy programming involved, apart from possibly using an LLM to generate scripts in Colab. * Everyone: Practice presentation skills when designing and documenting your systems.

Excellent courses!!! One complaint: the AI review of the assignments in the 4th section does have a problem with PDF files. I did everything, submitted the file and got 0 points! I've re-submitted EXACTLY the same info via a txt file and I passes the assignment with 100% evaluation

You'll learn a lot in this course. The material is presented in such a clear and immersive way, it's hard not to keep going. Professor Hilbert is great instructor. No need for any technical background, just need an interest in how to learn and work with AI agents.

This was one of the most fruitful courses that i have attended lastly, a million thanks for Professor Martin Hilbert and coursera and University of Califourna and will be looking to attend more smillirar courses.

The course is well done. I especially enjoyed how it walks you through building and experimenting with the ai agents. The concepts are explained clearly and are logically structured into the modules.

The content is good, so the overall score is 4 stars. FORMAT - Way too much talking head video. I get bored to tears sitting thru 7 min videos. CONCEPTS - Prof Hilbert is a smart guy and he has some excellent insights. For example, in simplistic terms, AI Agents are digital replacements for "Human based Multi agent systems" that have existed forever. THINK ABOUT THAT! Any process has expert humans with unique skills that perform a part of a task. There are inputs, activities and outputs. One agent hands an output to another, as in input to the next process. Fascinating to consider; this small aha. AI GRADING - Coursera may have introduced AI grading into other courses. I have taken approx 50 courses now and this was the first one with GenAI dialogue and quiz / test grading. Id rate the quality of that experience as 8 out of 10. EXCELLENT START and shows tremendous promise for its applicability to learning and feedback.

I'm a neuroscience student with a beginner background in AI (mostly ChatGPT and NotebookLM), and this was a strong entry point into how AI actually works beyond surface-level prompting. The course covers prompt engineering, agent workflows, and multi-agent systems in a clear, structured way. The biggest value for me was the depth of prompt engineering. The course changed how I interact with AI and helped build real intuition for how these systems work. The layout is well-designed, with short, engaging lessons that build on each other. Assignments are practical and let you apply what you learn, and the built-in AI chatbot is useful for clarifying concepts. It’s a relatively low time investment but high payoff in terms of understanding and practical use. Best suited for beginners+ or anyone who has been using AI casually and wants to use it more effectively. Overall, worth it.
