This not a prep course at all, but rather a very surface overview of some of the material you'll need to learn for the ECBA exam. It's neither a companion to the BABOK that will guide you through what you'll need to know, nor does it provide study and testing strategies that will prepare you for the exam. The questions asked after each section are overly simplistic (a person who has no knowledge of the content would be able to answer most of them by process of elimination), and do not at all mirror those that will likely be asked in the exam. Instead of providing a mock exam at the conclusion of the course, it has a practical hands on activity, which will not be required for the exam. I would not recommend this course except to maybe get a feel for what Business Analysis is and some of its core concepts.

Good prepare for IIBA® Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™ (ECBA™)

While I very much appreciate Igor's work and that there was a Coursera on-demand offering for the ECBA required training, I found the structure and learning objectives a little ambiguous for my taste. I will need to review the BABOK Guide rigorously on my own to truly understand the minimum knowledge requirements I will need to pass the examination. Just food for thought; maybe this won't be the case for you!

Excellent introduction and overview that is well presented. Will be especially helpful for the intended audience, namely, those seeking entry-level professional credentials. However, I took the course as an experienced BA and found the material refreshing, stimulating, and thought-provoking. I've got takeaways that will bolster what is already a robust business analysis process. Highly recommended, therefore, for learners at all levels.
