The step-by-step videos and explanation of DAX measures was explained clearly without using much jargon, which facilitated learning the concepts and formulas.

this course is irrlevant for Power BI,best apps for these analysis are Sage,Quickbook,Xero and other accounting apps with loads other automated features and invoices and payments.
The DAX formulas were too ridiculously complicated. Why would anyone spend hours on Power BI when most of this could be done in Excel in a few minutes? When we have created something, we want to be able to troubleshoot it easily or allow other users to review it, just in case there were errors. I gave up after Module 5. I would not recommend the practice in this course in the real world.

Extra-Ordinary Course Content!
Great course!
Good to learn about PowerQuery, PowerBI, SQL etc but the app usage and tutorial is not universal (not all relevant as the app version changes; and I also have to download other app as the Microsoft SQL app is discontinued). The example given is also very very heavily dependent on the example dataset used so it requires less critical thinking and more on "since the demonstrator knows the nature of the dataset". Would be better if it's more practical: eg. for financial company or services company where we don't track/maintain inventory or stock, how relevant is these to us then. The above would mean that all the brainstorming we did during the course wouldn't be able to convert to beneficial learning curve for our work purpose. (depending on which industry you are working at). Good basic and introductory course overall thou. I would give it a 2.8/5.0 personally.
Unfortunately, one of the modules is impossible to complete in practice. The Excel files provided are corrupted or contain broken Data Models, which prevent any access to Power Pivot, Power Query, or PivotTables. Attempting to open the Data Model immediately triggers MDX errors and “Data Model is damaged” messages. As a result: - Practical exercises relying on the Data Model cannot be executed. - There is no way to work around the issue within Excel. - The lack of support or any method to obtain a working file makes completing the course tasks technically unfeasible. Additionally, the speaker uses the outdated version of PowerBi, so be ready to google solutions rather than take the course directly.
