Having effective people management skills is a crucial component of project management experience to achieving project success.
Linked to the Leadership skill area of the PMI Talent Triangle® as well as linked to the people domain of the PMP Certification exam, this course will place focus on managing the expectations and relationships of the people involved in projects. To achieve the project goals, it is important to have the knowledge, skills and behaviors needed to guide, motivate and/or direct others. People skills are crucial in achieving success. One way to effectively motivate others is to show them what they can achieve through collaboration and cooperation. Project leaders are constantly helping project stakeholders see the potential for success by demonstrating knowledge, skills and behaviors related to people.
There are a variety of skills that will be covered in the course, such as negotiation, active listening, emotional intelligence, and servant leadership. These powerful skills can be incredibly helpful throughout the lifecycle of your projects, so it’s important that project professionals learn them well.
Learners will uncover the importance of managing expectations and relationships effectively and how to create a positive work environment and build good relationships with team members. This is an essential skill for any project manager, and this course will focus on how to manage the expectations of others, both internally and externally. By doing so, you can help your team and organization stay productive and successfully meet the goals of the project..
By the end of the course, learners will be able to confidently identify the stakeholders of a project and determine the appropriate strategies to manage expectations and maintain a productive working relationship with team members and all stakeholders. This is an important competency in any industry, whether it be healthcare, information technology, government, private-sector, or non-profit. Additionally, upon successful completion of this course, learners can earn 8 contact hours of project management education or professional development units which are recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI). A total of 35 contact hours (PDUs) in project management education are a requirement (see PMI.org) to those looking to achieve the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential. Learners will finish this PMP certification course with increased knowledge of the better practice tips to engage stakeholders and be more than ready to continue their project management and PMP® journey, which we hope completes your certificate with us.

As someone who previously took the official PMP exam preparation course from PMI before sitting for the exam I went in feeling confident but quickly realized during the test that I was seeing terms and concepts I did not fully understand. Unfortunately that lack of preparation resulted in me not passing the exam.
After completing the Managing People with Power Skill course I can truly appreciate the instructor’s approach and teaching style. One of the most valuable aspects of this course was how clearly the instructor explained how the PMP exam actually works especially the people domain. She took the time to break down key terms explain what the people section is really assessing and provide insight into how these concepts appear in exam questions.
What stood out most was how she used her own power skills to guide us on how to think through the questions rather than just memorizing answers. The way she compared and contrasted scenarios throughout the course helped reinforce understanding and made the material much easier to apply both for the exam and in real world leadership situations.
I would strongly recommend this course to anyone preparing for the PMP or to professionals looking to strengthen their people management and leadership skills. This course fills important gaps and provides clarity that is essential for success.

A comprehensive course that provide very important knowledge concerning people and power skills in project management, that is a significant portion in the PMP exams.
It would be very useful to have more quizzes or more questions to the existing quizzes with real-life examples.

Good PMI prep and explanations of the concepts + I like the nuanced quizzes which sharpen my thinking within the PM realm. What's a shame is that I don't know what answers I have wrong in the weekly quizzes and exams, and thus I'm not learning from my mistakes. I don't have time to be a detective and scrutinize every single answer every 8 hours when I get a new tries. It'd be good e.g. to "accept grade" if I don't want to retake the exam further and see the results with explanations.

Je vous écris concernant un problème critique d'accès et d'application de mon Aide Financière pour la Spécialisation PMP Exam Prep Certification Training, composée de quatre modules.
L'Aide Financière a été approuvée pour l'ensemble de cette Spécialisation. Cependant, l'accès aux modules suivants est bloqué en raison d'un problème de paiement récurrent sur le deuxième cours, malgré mon statut d'aide financière.
Voici le récapitulatif précis de ma progression :
Cours 1 sur 4 : PMP Exam Prep: Project Management Principles — Terminé. J'ai soumis tous les travaux et j'ai reçu le certificat avec succès.
Cours 2 sur 4 (Problème de Blocage) : PMP Exam Prep: Managing People with Power Skills — 95% Terminé. J'ai complété toutes les vidéos et les devoirs du cours. Je suis actuellement bloqué(e) au niveau du quiz final (ou de l'examen noté final), qui me demande de payer des frais pour l'accès et la notation, annulant l'effet de l'aide financière accordée.
Cours 3 sur 4 : PMP Exam Prep: Ways of Working for Technical Projects — Non débloqué et non accessible.
Cours 4 sur 4 : PMP Exam Prep: Gaining Business Acumen for Project Managers — Non débloqué et non accessible.
Je ne peux pas soumettre le dernier quiz du Cours 2 ni accéder aux Cours 3 et 4. Ceci m'empêche de finaliser ma formation et d'obtenir l'intégralité des certificats de la Spécialisation.
Je vous demande de bien vouloir :
