I have recently completed the "Sustainable and Resilient Operations Management" course, and I found it to be highly valuable for understanding how businesses can integrate sustainability and resilience into their operations. The course contained few lectures, but most of the education was via articles that were linked in the course. While the articles were informative, I prefer some more lectures. Also, many of the test questions contained answer options that were diametrically opposed, which is far too easy. IE: sustainable production increases CO2 or decreases CO2.

The course feels more like a Siemens marketing scheme than an academic course. The concepts presented are ill befitting of masters-level course. For an engineering management course, the topic is too qualitative and presents few methods of quantification. The educational outcomes of the course serve for great trivia and fun-facts, without addressing the fundamental topics of how (and what tools to use) to directly apply sustainable practices to the real world.
