A good introduction to quantum mechanics that does not require excessive mathematical skills.
Course Overview: https://youtu.be/xyF-MmGNxd0
The 20th century was known as the century of physics. In the past 120 years, concepts such as space, time, energy, entropy and particles were understood to much deeper levels. New paradigms of thinking such as relativity and quantum mechanics emerged. This course is the second course in the Understanding Modern Physics series, which covers an introduction to quantum mechanics, atomic physics and quantum information. We will find (i) How the quantum world is different from our everyday experience, and why we need quantum mechanics; (ii) How to describe atoms in fundamental physics, why atoms do not collapse, and what are the atomic states; (iii) The nature of quantum information, and why quantum information is much richer than classical information.

I extend my thanks to speaker for the elaboration of the content in a systematic order.

Quite beginner-friendly, notes/resources are quite helpful, especially with the complicated maths. As a high school student I would recommend it for anyone interested in the field.

Quite an interesting class with an extremely passionate Professor (Instructor) of the course: Understanding Modern Physics II: Quantum Mechanics and Atoms
RG
A gentle, but fascinating introduction to quantum mechanics. The lecturer did a phenomenal job and the assignments felt challenging but fair. Really good!
HK
Very nice and brief introduction before learning quantum mechanics...
AE
Great course but I already knew most of the material

Amazing resource. I recommend starting with this course + Susskind's theoretical minimum. You can go anywhere from here:D

Lecturer is very difficult to understand, lectures do not seem to flow well

The course starts getting complex pretty fast. Although the professor says it's an introduction to an introduction, it throws mathematical details at you. Week 1 is straightforward and encouraging; nonetheless, if you plan to get an overview of Quantum Mechanics and atoms, it is a good overview to navigate your learning.
It's very interesting course. I get understading about quantum mecanics in short time. But at week1 will be very useful give more information about complex number and at week4 some examples of propability calculations and vector description of two spin states.

It was a great experience to have this course. The instructor taught in an effective way. The course is extremely useful for learning quantum mechanics. This course really developed an understanding of the subject. I am thankful to Coursera and HKUST for making such a course.
